Today saw an unusually dry and bright day for the Trackskills day at Kirkistown. Another excellent turnout. I thought I would try out the fabled Canon nifty fifty lens for a change, but my conclusion is that it's not really suited to motorsport pictures.I had to up the shutter speed to 1/50s to get a decent image. But it still struggled somewhat with the front of the cars in focus and the rest blurred. In future I'll stick with my kit 18-55 lens. Chris Rogan's little Clio 182 here is my favourite pic of the day.
